Sausage and Egg Casserole

Sausage and Egg Casserole


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk port sausage (we typically use Jimmy Dean Hot)
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3 slices wheat bread, cubed

Steps

  • Step1

    Brown sausage and drain. 

  • Step2

    Beat eggs with milk, salt, and mustard.

  • Step3

    Layer bread cubes in bottom of buttered 9”x13” casserole dish.

  • Step4

    Crumble sausage over bread and top with cheese.

  • Step5

    Pour eggs over all. Refrigerate overnight.

  • Step6

    Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees
